Naiomi Kaufman’s practice is focused on general civil litigation and business transactions in the entertainment, media, wine, and technology industries. Other areas of focus include criminal defense work, licensing and protection of intellectual property rights, internet law and trademark prosecution.
Ms. Kaufman received her B.A. in Literature, with a concentration in Modern Literary and Jewish Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2006. She received her J.D. from California Western School of Law in 2010. While at CWSL, she was a member of the Pro Bono Honors Society and completed pre- and post- graduate internships with the San Diego Public Defender’s Office. Ms. Kaufman also interned with San Francisco Magazine. The article she wrote about her home town of Sonoma was published in the Magazine’s 2007 Best of the Bay Edition. Currently, Ms. Kaufman volunteers with the San Francisco Bar Association’s Justice & Diversity Center.
Ms. Kaufman can speak conversational Japanese.
